NCS is a revolutionary enterprise app enabling users to create fully interactive and scalable systems simulations in minutes via simple drag and drop selection –
Before NCS, simulation production cost and complexity prevented its use in classroom computer-based training software ‘CBT’.
Now, in a fraction of the time/cost of producing conventional CBT containing no simulation at all,
NCS users can produce training software comprising entirely of simulation:
U-SBT is the world’s only fully simulation-based classroom training software.
With U-SBT, lessons are incorporated in fully interactive simulations of the entire subject matter. Enabling both Spatial
Visualisation and Learning by Doing, U-SBT dramatically improves learning outcomes and training efficacy.
The Science (below) explains the profound beneficial impact at all levels sector-wide, particularly in STEM and complex subject matter.
Produced in minutes with the NCS Enterprise Application and adaptable for any subject matter, U-SBT is a self-contained,
fully scalable & portable app that will work in either stand-alone mode, or as part of a package of training modules.
U-SBT is transformative because it simultaneously provides immediate, comprehensive and contextual subject
This generates dramatic speed and depth of learning, understanding and retention, removing dependency on rote learning and memorising.
Few have the innate
Both graphics illustrate the Tokyo underground rail system; both are complex, but the 3D is deeply confusing, whilst the 2D is clear.
U-SBT employs both 2D and 3D graphics. Each has their place in learning complex subject matter effectively;
2D enables critical primary understanding, whilst (where relevant/helpful) 3D can assist secondary/situational comprehension.
Employing 2D/3D judiciously is important because used inappropriately in training material, 3D can be confusing and counterproductive. Below is an excellent illustrative example.
U-SBT is revolutionary AI-enabled software delivering demonstrably game-changing training benefits
U-SBT is the world’s only simulation-based classroom training software.
Enabled by UltralightAI, U-SBT sets a matchless new standard,
With U-SBT, lessons are incorporated in fully interactive simulations of the entire subject matter as a self-contained, fully scalable,
portable and adaptable app that will work in either stand-alone mode, or as part of a package of training modules.
With the NCS App , enterprise licence holders can produce/modify U-SBT
software swiftly and easily in-house if they wish. Enables platform-wide training software standardisation and control, and
cost-effective legacy systems upgrade.
Removes ITAR issues, obsolescence risk, and 3rd party provision dependency.
Creating bespoke U-SBT software with the NCS Enterprise App is quick and easy via simple drag and drop selection. (Full prompt capability will follow). We describe the process below, using aircraft systems as the subject matter.
A renowned academic, scientist, engineer, and educator, Ian has served at universities in both Europe and the United States for over 30 years.
Having also worked extensively in industry, he was the 1991 winner of Ford Motor Company Innovative Engineer.
Currently Ian is researching aerodynamics of low-speed flight and numerical evaluations and Artificial Intelligence in Engineering applications.
He has taught in over 50 countries as a researcher, consultant and trainer and as Senior lecturer at University of Hertfordshire,
associate Dean of Research at Embry Riddle worldwide and Dean of Doctorate Programs at Capitol Technology University. His academic leadership is
exemplified by the completion of over 300 masters students and 190 doctoral students under his supervision.
Ian serves as an editor and assistant editor for several international journals focused on science and emerging technologies,
including artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. To date, he has published nearly 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers.
A keynote speaker on the international stage and experienced external examiner, Ian is also a Royal Aeronautical Society Fellow
and a Bon Solon-trained expert witness in all aspects of aviation and education.
A computer scientist and mathematician specialising in aeronautical engineering and cyber security, Elena studied at the
Transport and Telecommunication Institute TCI, successor of the legendary Latvian RKIIGA-RAU.
Elena serves as an assistant editor and reviewer for multiple scientific journals in computer science and cybersecurity.
She is a globally recognized scholar, an in-demand speaker and conference contributor worldwide.
Following over fourteen years as a professor at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide, Elena has now expanded her academic
influence as an Adjunct Professor and Ph.D. Committee Member at Capitol Technology University, and Cyber consultant for education charities.
Her knowledge on computing and mathematics from freshman to engineering masters’ students and PhD committee work,
has allowed her to not only encourage but nurture the next generation of cyber experts.
A Royal Aeronautical Society Fellow, in December 2024, Elena was recognised as the Laureate in the 'Woman Cybersecurity Researcher'
category of the European Cyber Woman Excellence Awards by CEFCYS.
During his 33-year military career as an RAF fast jet pilot Peter served in the USA
twice and Brussels. Outside flying he majored in International Defence Relations and capability development.
After a tour as the UK Representative to NATO Supreme Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk VA he became the Capability Director in the
European Defence Agency. Here he was responsible for more than 100 Capability and Research and Technology programs including the EU
‘Flagship 4’ Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, Cyber Defence, Air-to-Air Refuelling and Government Satellite Communications program.
He oversaw the relationship with OCCAR and defence industries for capability issues across the whole defence domain.
More recently he chaired a listed company which launched 16 satellites for RF Geolocation and supported a startup
developing an in-space Space Domain Awareness capability.
