UltralightAI

Paradigm-Shifting Frontier AI Architecture
Accurate. Explainable. Efficient. Safe.

App Ready
What Is
UltralightAI ?

UltralightAI is a highly disruptive proprietary Logic-and-Maths-based (LaM) AI Architecture, providing capabilities, benefits and utility that are impossible to achieve with Generative/Large Language Model AI Architectures (Gen/LLM AIs).

App-ready, totally safe, fully adaptable, scalable and supremely efficient,
UltralightAI  delivers output that is 100% accurate, verifiable, explainable, traceable, and free from hallucinations and bias.

This enables deployment of
UltralightAI  in safety-critical environments where Gen/LLM AI applications inherently cannot. Moreover, UltralightAI  delivers decentralized application privacy, unlocking full ‘AI on device’ capability.
Safety Critical Use
Explainable and Traceable
-->
For an AI technology to be capable of application for safety critical tasks, the algorithmic path it takes to reach its output must be fully explainable and traceable.

The explainability and traceability must be able to be clearly and incontrovertibly evidenced.

UltralightAI  delivers this capability and meets all of the criteria for safety critical applications.

NCS Summarised
Unlocking the Value in Simulation

NCS is a revolutionary enterprise app enabling users to create fully interactive and scalable systems simulations in minutes via simple drag and drop selection – an 800 X cost/time reduction and simplification.

For the first time, systems simulations can be built by anyone, with no coding experience at all, using just a standard laptop or tablet. Full prompt facility is imminent.

NCS is adaptable for any subject matter or purpose, with output viewable/usable on any device.

NCS will deliver transformative benefits at scale across all forms and levels of learning/training, predictive real-time modelling, systems design/planning and more.

NCS In Operation...
...Simulation in Minutes
NCS Applied...
...to Revolutionise Training and Learning

Before NCS, simulation production cost and complexity prevented its use in classroom computer-based training software ‘CBT’.

Now, in a fraction of the time/cost of producing conventional CBT containing no simulation at all, NCS users can produce training software comprising entirely of simulation: UltralightAI™  Simulation-Based Training Software ‘U-SBT’.

U-SBT will revolutionise all forms and levels of training and learning - find out how and why (Link opens in new tab).

Beyond State-of-the-Art
Transformative by Every Measure

U-SBT is the world’s only fully simulation-based classroom training software.

With U-SBT, lessons are incorporated in fully interactive simulations of the entire subject matter. Enabling both Spatial Visualisation and Learning by Doing, U-SBT dramatically improves learning outcomes and training efficacy.  The Science (below) explains the profound beneficial impact at all levels sector-wide, particularly in STEM and complex subject matter.

Produced in minutes with the NCS Enterprise Application and adaptable for any subject matter, U-SBT is a self-contained, fully scalable & portable app that will work in either stand-alone mode, or as part of a package of training modules.

The Science:
Spatial Visualisation and Learning by Doing

U-SBT is transformative because it simultaneously provides immediate, comprehensive and contextual subject Spacial Visualisation and the ‘Learning by Doing’ qualities of fully interactive simulation.

This generates dramatic speed and depth of learning, understanding and retention, removing dependency on rote learning and memorising.

Spatial Visualisation is the ability to mentally interpret ‘flat, dry’ material, such as a description/drawing/design and visualise it as a fully formed working entity, in essence creating an accurate simulation in the mind’s eye of its appearance, properties and systems.

Spatial Visualisation is a highly specialist learned skill, often fundamental in engineering design, that uses a different part of the brain to that used for rote learning and memorization.

Few have the innate Spatial Visualisation necessary to swiftly interpret and understand complex ‘flat, dry’ material. Hence learning is difficult, slow and failure rates high in STEM subjects and across the complex and safety critical, such as aviation technical training.

U-SBT solves this.

2D vs 3D Graphics
Which, where, why...

Both graphics illustrate the Tokyo underground rail system; both are complex, but the 3D is deeply confusing, whilst the 2D is clear.

U-SBT employs both 2D and 3D graphics. Each has their place in learning complex subject matter effectively; 2D enables critical primary understanding, whilst (where relevant/helpful) 3D can assist secondary/situational comprehension.

Employing 2D/3D judiciously is important because used inappropriately in training material, 3D can be confusing and counterproductive. Below is an excellent illustrative example.

Peerless New State of the Art:
Transformative By Every Measure

U-SBT is revolutionary AI-enabled software delivering demonstrably game-changing training benefits
at the Speed of Relevance.

The NCS app enables Enterprise Licence Holders to produce/modify U-SBT software quickly and easily, at scale, in-house. Enables platform-wide training software standardisation and autonomy and cost-effective legacy systems upgrade. Removes ITAR issues, obsolescence risk, and 3rd party provision dependency.

U-SBT production: 1 person + 1 day = 1 U-SBT module, entirely simulation, simple & swift to modify.
(see The Build Difference).
Conventional CBT production: 1 person + 1 month = 1 CBT module, mainly slides, no simulation, difficult or impossible to modify.

Producing U-SBT Software...
...with the NCS App
Creating bespoke U-SBT software with the NCS Enterprise App is quick and easy via simple drag and drop selection. (Full prompt capability will follow). We describe the process below, using aircraft technical systems as the subject matter.
  • First, all the aircraft’s systems are simulated – technical, mission and flight performance.
  • (All simulations are instantly fully interactive & labels simultaneously incorporated).
  • Lessons, interactive controls and 2D and 3D graphical illustrations are incorporated.
  • The whole is then assembled into modules (typically 20-24), to form the completed, fully scalable, U-SBT software product.
  • 1 person can produce a 20 -24 module U-SBT software product in 4-6 weeks.
  • Throughout production and its entire working life, U-SBT software is quick and easy to modify.
